Sharing God's Love
All events are suspended under the current restrictions, except for our Friday morning Village Café which is currently running a 'Zoom' coffee morning - see below.
If you are missing your Friday Coffee, Cake and Chat - then every Friday Virtual Village Café comes to you in your home via Zoom. Grab a cup of coffee and log in for a chat with friends. Full details of how to join the Café from our Reader: Sarah Emanuel - email here
Normally the Café meets in Marden Vestry Hall on Fridays from 10am until 11.45am, where you can enjoy cakes and coffee, and meet new people for a chat.
Because of its popularity we will need more people to help run this event as soon as we can re-open. If you feel you could take an occasional turn on the rota please contact me.

We are sorry that recent lunches have had to be cancelled. We hope it won't be too long until the lunches can resume.

The Craft group meets on 2nd and 4th Mondays every month and new members are always welcome. Bring along any craft you are interested in and get creative in company. Sometimes we jointly have a project, but we are always interested in new ideas and ventures. Simply bring your knitting if that is what floats your boat - and enjoy company and tea whilst you create.

Marden is a lively branch, committed to serving the Church and the community, in the diocese and with worldwide links.
We continue to serve the Church and Parish community wherever we can help. This includes Baptism Sponsorship, Community Lunches and Friday Cafe. Outside the village, members are active in support of Operation Sunshine, 'Away from It all' Holidays, and fundraising for Mothers' Union work overseas. We meet monthly, generally on a Wednesday lunchtime/evening - dates, times and venues published in the Magazine and Notice Sheet.

The Church has a dedicated Team of Flower Arrangers who work hard to make the Church look beautiful throughout the year. The Altar, Font and Lady Chapel flowers are arranged each week throughout the year by our local volunteer flower arranging team who work on a rota. Many use seasonal flowers and foliage from their own gardens wherever possible.
The team can also help you with your wedding flowers, please click the Church Office for contact details email@example.com
Would you like to join the Flower Arranging Team?
Experience or no experience, we would love to hear from you. Don’t worry if you haven’t arranged church flowers before, we will be there to help you.
We try to have enough people on the team so that no-one feels overworked, we always need extra pairs of hands!
