The Craft group meets on 2nd and 4th Mondays every month and new members are always welcome. Bring along any craft you are interested in and get creative in company. Sometimes we jointly have a project, but we are always interested in new ideas and ventures. Simply bring your knitting if that is what floats your boat - and enjoy company and tea whilst you create.

This group is designed to help those living with memory loss. We have a lovely group of volunteers from our community to help us. Each meeting will have a different theme and we will be offering various activities, music and memorabilia to encourage personal memories.  There is nothing to pay other than a contribution for refreshments.

Marden is a lively branch, committed to serving the Church and the community, in the diocese and with worldwide links.

We continue to serve the Church and Parish community wherever we can help.  This includes Baptism Sponsorship, Teddy Bears' Picnic, Community Lunches and Friday Cafe.  Outside the village, members are active in support of Operation Sunshine, 'Away from It all' Holidays, Maidstone Prison Reception Centre and fundraising for Mothers' Union work overseas. We meet monthly, generally on a Wednesday lunchtime/evening - dates, times and venues published in the Magazine and Notice Sheet.

The Church has a dedicated Team of Flower Arrangers who work hard to make the Church look beautiful throughout the year. The Altar, Font and Lady Chapel flowers are arranged each week throughout the year by our local volunteer flower arranging team who work on a rota. Many use seasonal flowers and foliage from their own gardens wherever possible.
The team can also help you with your wedding flowers, please click the Church Office for contact details

Would you like to join the Flower Arranging Team?
Experience or no experience, we would love to hear from you.  Don’t worry if you haven’t arranged church flowers before, we will be there to help you.
We try to have enough people on the team so that no-one feels overworked, we always need extra pairs of hands!

We ring for Sunday worship at 10:00am, for the 10:30am service, and practice at 8.00pm on Thursday evenings (often followed by a drink in the pub). We really welcome and encourage new members, or anyone who just wants to try ringing.
