Sharing God's Love
on Sunday 11th August at 6.30pm
at St Michael & All Angels Church, Marden.
Taizé services are
contemplative, held by candlelight, and offer a rich experience of song, prayer, readings
and space for silent reflection. The songs are simple and repeated, with the
meditative quality of prayer. This is a time to be present with God and with one another, and
take his divine presence into the world.
Taizé is welcoming, affirming and ecumenical in nature; founded in the monastic Taizé Community in France by Brother Roger in the 1940s to bring healing and reconciliation between divided peoples. All are welcome! Join us for some peace, calm and spiritual refreshment.
