Update: 24th March 2020
Following the announcement by the Prime Minister and Archbishop Justin Welby, the church building will now remain locked. The Office is still receiving telephone calls and emails.
18th March 2020
At this difficult time, we wanted to reassure you of our love and support to you all.
No doubt you will have heard from the news and the press of the suspension of public worship in our churches, and below you can see how this affects us in the Parish of Marden.
We will endeavour to keep this website updated on a regular basis with any changes as they occur. The Church Office will remain open, but will be closed to visitors. Judy will be there during the normal office hours (Tues/Weds/Thurs 9am-1pm) to answer your telephone and email enquiries. The Pastoral Team will be able to help with things of a more practical and spiritual nature – if you are self-isolating and need help with shopping or prescriptions please do ask. Perhaps you would like a regular phone call from one of us – again please do ask.
While our youth ministry work is suspended, Kathy our Youth and Children’s Minister will be redeployed with pastoral ministry.

As we said right at the beginning, the church is still here to support and share with you.
Meanwhile, our search for a new Vicar will continue during the crisis as far as we are able.
With our love and prayers
