Marden Church is part of the Church of England. We serve the Parish of Marden and its surrounding communities within the Deanery of Cranbrook, which is part of the Diocese of Canterbury.

You will see on this website information about the many activities of the church in the parish and beyond. Church is not just about Sundays; God loves us all, and we are part of the community every day of the week. We offer a variety of services for people of all ages, both contemporary and traditional in style. Whether you have been a christian for ages, have not been to church for years or simply want to ask more, you will find a very warm welcome.

Ever wondered what it's all about?  Over 2 million people in the UK and 11 million worldwide have now attended an Alpha Course, an opportunity to explore the meaning of life.  Marden Church will be holding an Alpha Course starting at the end of September.   Come along to the Alpha meal on 16th September at 7.30 pm at the Vestry Hall to find out more.  For more information contact vicar@mardenchurch.org.uk

Marden Church has supported the Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed in Bangladesh for many years and it is our Charity for the month of August.  It's Founder, Valerie Taylor will be visiting Marden on Tuesday 23rd September.  Come along to the Vestry Hall at 7 pm to hear her give an update on the work of CRP.  All welcome

Our Charity for the month of September is the Kent Air Ambulance which operates from its base in Marden. Air Ambulance Week to raise awareness of the vital work of the life saving helicopters, is from September 22nd.  There will also be an open day at the base off Pattenden Lane on Sunday 7th September from 10 am.

We are a vibrant church committed to developing new areas of ministry with children.  We are seeking a Children and Families' Worker. This exciting post offers opportunities to: join a team nurturing the faith of children aged 0 - 11 in the church - help extend midweek and holiday activities where children will hear about Jesus Christ - build relationships with children's families, their school and community.  We will provide a bursary and training at Cliff College.  Download Application Pack and more details.
