The Church at the Heart of the Village

Marden Church is part of the Church of England. We serve the Parish of Marden and its surrounding communities within the Deanery in the Weald, which is part of the Diocese of Canterbury.

You will see on this website information about the many activities of the church in the parish and beyond. Church is not just about Sundays; God loves us all, and we are part of the community every day of the week. We offer a variety of services for people of all ages, both contemporary and traditional in style. Whether you have been a christian for ages, have not been to church for years or simply want to ask more, you will find a very warm welcome.

Get to know your Bishop!  An evening with the Rt Revd Trevor Willmott, the new Bishop of Dover on Wednesday 17th March from 7 pm to 9.30 pm in the Queens Hall, Cranbrook School.  More details ...  An opportunity to meet the new Bishop and ask him any questions you may have (questions in advance please to Di Copas churchwarden@mardenchurch.org.uk )

A Book Sale will be held on Saturday 20th March from, 9.30 to 12.30 pm in the Vestry Hall.  Refreshments will be available and admission is free.   If you have any books in good condition you would like to donate, please deliver them to the Vestry Hall on Friday 19th March between 1 pm and 4 pm or contact Brian Woodgate brian@mardenchurch.org.uk  

Our Charity for the month of March is Nabbongo School in Uganda.  Read an update .....   There is a desperate need for help in Uganda following the recent floods and landslides.  Can you help?
